Abductors Of Army Captain, Others Flee Abandon Victims In Forest

LAGOS MAY 15TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Kidnappers who held Nigeria Army captain identified as Gana, captive have fled and abandoned their victims in the forest they were kept.

The kidnappers were said to have fled after security operatives closed in on their hideout.

Gana and two others were kidnapped on Tuesday by gunmen around Auga-Akoko-Ibilo, boundary towns between Ondo and Edo States

They were found in a forest at Ibilo in Edo State.

Spokesman of the Nigerian Army 32 Artillery Brigade, Akure, Captain Ayorinde Omojokun, said a combined team of the Army and other security agencies rescued the military officer without paying any ransom.
