The crash occurred at the Akankan village, along Olodo on the Abeokuta-Ibadan Road in the Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the accident on Sunday.

Akinbiyi said the crash, which involved an unregistered Mack truck, occurred on Saturday.

The TRACE PRO said the accident was caused by excessive speeding on the part of the truck driver, which led to loss of control.
