Custom Officer Escapes Death, Butchered By Smugglers (PHOTOS)

LAGOS SEPTEMBER 9TH (NEWSRANGERS)-A Customs officer with FOU zone A, identified as Musa M. M. was lucky to have escaped death as he was attacked and threatening life injuries inflicted on him by smugglers while on duty at ldiroko axis, the road linking Nigeria with Republic of Benin.

The officer whose hand was seriously butchered by dare- devil smugglers was on information patrol with his colleagues when smugglers laid ambush along lbeyi River area of ldogo and attacked them.

The officers intercepted a Toyota Highlander, but suffered attack from smugglers.
The injured officer was first taken to ldiroko general hospital for treatment but later transferred to Lagos Orthopedic hospital.
