England
Premier League
Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi both played the full 90 minutes were both in Leicester City’s 2-1 opening day defeat away at Manchester United. Victor Moses was an 81st-minute substitute for Chelsea, who secured a 3-0 away win at Huddersfield Town to get Maurizio Sarri’s reign off to a flying start. Isaac Success played the final 16 minutes of Watford’s 2-0 home win against Brighton and Hove Albion at Vicarage Road.
Championship
Oghenekaro Etebo played the final 25 minutes on his Stoke City home debut; an eventual 1-1 draw against Brentford. Viv Solomon-Otabor came off the bench in the 76th-minute of Birmingham City’s 1-0 away defeat at Middlesbrough.
Portugal
Alhassan Ibrahim was yellow carded on his league debut for Nacional, who were beaten 4-2 by Braga.
Scotland Forward
Uche Ikpeazu was involved from start to finish in Hearts’ 1-0 upset win against Celtic.

Abdul Ajagun featured for 79 minutes of Kortrijk’s 3-0 away loss at champions Club Brugge. Highly-rated forward Denis Bonaventure played the final 15 minutes from the bench for the home team. Uche Agbo was subbed off at halftime and received a yellow card in Standard Liege’s 0-0 home draw against Cercle Brugge. Taiwo Awoniyi played 71 minutes of Gent’s 4-1 home victory against Waasland-Beveren.

Right-back Kingsley Ehizibue played 90 minutes, but ended up on the losing side as PEC Zwolle were beaten 3-2 at home by SC Heerenveen.

Bright Edomwonyi played 65 minutes of Austria Wien’s 2-0 away loss at Salzburg.

Dream Team VI left-back Stanley Amuzie played the final nine minutes of Lugano’s 2-2 home draw against Grasshopper.

Forward Henry Onyekuru featured for 84 minutes on his league debut for Galatasaray, a 3-1 away victory at Ankaragucu. Olarenwaju Kehinde played the final 11 minutes for Ankaragucu. Aminu Umar played 76 minutes for Rizespor, who lost 3-2 at home to Kasimpasa. Samuel Eduok played for 59 minutes before his substitution for the winning team. William Troost-Ekong opened the scoring for Bursaspor, but ended on the losing side in a 2-1 away defeat at Fenerbahce. Ogenyi Onazi was on from start to finish of Trabzonspor’s 2-0 away defeat of Istanbul Basaksehir. Sincere Seth featured for 90 minutes at right-back for Yeni Malatyaspor, who were 3-1 winners away at Goztepe.
Czech Republic
Kehinde Fatai was on for 58 minutes of Slavia Prague’s 1-0 away win at Mlada Boleslav.
Bulgaria
Stephen Eze played the entire match as Lokomotiv Plovdiv secured a comfortable 3-0 home win against Vereya.
