“My Abductors Who Are Fulanis Released Me Without Ransom” – DVC Of Anchor Varsity Reveals

LAGOS JANUARY 26TH (NEWSRANGERS)-It was a surprise to other people as a whole DVC of Anchor University which belongs to the famous Bible-teaching church in Nigeria, Deeper Christian Life Ministry, spent three days in the hands of the abductors who captured him and requesting for some money. He said that on his way back home from Keffi, Nassarawa State around 9 pm on Monday after he had dropped off his children at their respective institutions a series of gunmen attacked his vehicle.

He said that immediately they blocked his vehicle he heard a gunshot come in front of his vehicle but he was a trap. They started shooting at his vehicle for some minutes before dragging him out. They order him to bring out his weapon but he told them he had none and after that, they thoroughly searched his vehicle and found his ID card alongside his ATM.

He said that they order them to go into the bush and they trek for some minutes passing mountain upon mountain. He said that some of the gunmen spoke fulfulde (Fulani’s language) while others speak English to him requesting money from him to pay their dues and debt. After they collected his phone and requested N20 million from a pastor in Keffi, Nassarawa State.

The kidnappers threatened him if the money fails to arrive the next day. The 55 years old DVC slept in an open area to 5 am the next morning. After the negotiations between them and the pastor did not go down well, the leader of the group then decided to transfer him to the Boko Haram camp because they are no more interested in the money. Immediately he started to shared tears and the leader of the group had compassion on him and order his boys to release him by giving back everything that belongs to him.
