Pregnant Woman Shot Dead, Husband Abducted In Kaduna State
LAGOS NOVEMBER 4TH (NEWSRANGERS)-A pregnant woman in Rigachikun, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State has been shot dead following shootout between suspected kidnappers and security operatives.
Details of the incident which reportedly took place on Tuesday evening remained sketchy as of press time.
The woman’s husband, it was gathered, was abducted.
The woman has since been buried according to Islamic rites, PUNCH learnt on Wednesday.
“The woman was due before the unfortunate incident. She has been buried according to Islamic rites. The kidnappers made away with the husband,” a source said.
Kaduna police spokesperson Mohammed Jalige could not be reached for comments.
