Ronaldo May Reject Juventus’ New Contract, Favour Move To Join Major League Soccer

LAGOS MARCH 17TH (NEWSRANGERS)- Cristiano Ronaldo set to rejects Juventus’ new contract offered to join Major League Soccer side Inter Miami next summer

The 35-year-old Portugal international who has registered 21 goals in Serie A for Maurizio Sarri’s side this season, is out of contract with the Old Lady at the end of the 2021-22 season.

The Serie A champions are said to be keen on extending the forward’s contract for another two years, but according to Don Balon, Ronaldo would favour a move to the MLS.

The report claims that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has reached an agreement with Inter Miami president David Beckham, and will allegedly make the switch to North America should Juventus fail to achieve Champions League glory next year.

Miami was due to play Beckham’s former MLS side LA Galaxy in their first-ever home game, but the American league is one of many tournaments postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Ronaldo has scored 626 goals in 838 appearances throughout his career.
