COVID-19 Kills Custom Officer In Ibadan

LAGOS APRIL  24TH  (NEWSRANGERS)-The dreaded and deadly  coronavirus has killed an Assistant Comptroller of Customs, G.A. Bamigboye at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan on Wednesday, April 23, 2020.

According to a reliable source who would not want his mentioned, he said Bamigboye was serving in Kano before he decided to come to Ibadan for brief  visit.

According to our reliable source,He is serving in Kano but he died at Ibadan.

“He was serving in Kano Jigawa Command.  AC BAMIGBOYE,  left Kano to Ibadan to meet his family two weeks ago.”

“Few days ago he complained about fever and was taken to a private hospital, on Sunday he couldn’t move again and was rushed to ICU UNIT UCH IBADAN but later died yesterday morning and result of the test confirm COVID-19.”

The Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) in a Public Notice to all the stakeholders said GA Bamigboye was a victim of COVID-19.
