Fayose Dares Ekiti Lawmakers, Shuns Invitation

LAGOS AUGUST 30TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Former Ekiti State Governor, Chief Ayodele Fayose said he will not honour the invitation by the Ekiti State House of Assembly to come SBD clarify any issue before the lawmakers.
Speaking through his media aide, Lere Olayinka, on Thursday, the former governor said he would not dignify an Assembly of clowns who were under the total control of a governor who is desperately in search of ways to cover his electoral thievery and failure to secure the acceptance of Ekiti people.
“If they have any evidence of financial impropriety against me, they can ask the man who used SMS to appoint them to invite EFCC operatives and accommodate them in the Government House as he has done on many occasions. As for us, we are moving on.”
Recall that during its sitting on Thursday, the Assembly adopted a motion calling on Fayose to appear before it to clarify some issues.
