Fela Son, Femi Kuti To Perform At Toronto Jazz Festival 2020
LAGOS FEBRUARY 18TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Afrobeat legend, Femi Kuti, and his band, The Positive Force, are billed to perform at the 2020 Toronto Jazz Festival.
The 57-year-old will be performing on June 23, 2020 at The Opera House.
“Toronto, catch me at the @TorontoJazzFest this summer, performing June 23 at @OperaHouseToronto. Tickets on sale now!” he wrote on Instagram on Monday night.
The festival, known for its 10-day period, will hold from June 18 to 28.
Also on the list of performers are fast-rising Canadian Jazz vocalist, Barbra Lica, and her compatriot, Marc Jordan.
American singer, Gregory Porter, who won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2014 and 2017, will also be performing.
