Female Lawyer Slaughters Her Lawyer Husband, Attempts Suicide


LAGOS MAY 4TH (NEWSRANGERS)-A female lawyer, Barr Udeme Odibi was reported to have slaughtered her husband Otike Odibi who also lawyer like a butcher slaughtering a cow.
Police report had it that Aafter killing her husband, she was not satisfied. She went further to ripped his tummy open, cut his penis and placed it in his hand, lying on their bed.

A statement made available by the spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Chike Oti said the crime was committed at about 7:30am on Thursday at Diamond Estate, Sango-Tedo, Lagos.
Oti disclosed that it was the Divisional Police Officer of Ogombo, Ajah, Lagos state that received a distress call on the incident.
According to him, “By the time the DPO mobilised a team of detectives to the scene, they found the lifeless body of man lying on the bed in the pool of his own blood, with his stomach ripped open, exposing the intestine, with his penis severed and placed on his right hand, while the woman the woman attempted to commit suicide. However, she did not succeed and was rushed to the hospital for treatment by neighbours.”
He stated that based on the development, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Edgal Imohimi, directed Crime Scene Detectives from the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba and Forensic experts to the scene to aid in the investigation.
Eyewitness account revealed that the couple, both of whom are lawyers, got married three years ago after the deceased divorced his first wife.
The deceased’s first marriage produced a daughter currently schooling in the UK.
The marriage is said to be without a child.
Further information from a neighbour revealed that the deceased called him on phone in the night before he was murdered, complaining that the wife was threatening to kill him with a knife.
The said neighbour however warned him to be careful.
The deceased also called his mother and his younger sister complaining of threat to his life that fateful night.
Imohimi noted that not too long ago, a husband allegedly killed his wife and baby in Banana Island Lagos.
He therefore advised couples to learn to resolve their matrimonial disputes without resorting to violence.
