Independence: Saraki, Dogara Absent At Eagle Square

LAGOS OCTOBER 1ST (NEWSRANGERS)-The Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara are conspicuously absent at the Eagle Square , venue of the 58 independence anniversary.
President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and other prominent personalities are presently witnessing the anniversary.
The duo of Saraki and Dogara have recently dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC), the ruling party for the Peoples Democratic Party( PDP).
Joseph Najimu, Benue state said Saraki and Dogara as number three and four citizens, should be in attendance.
” Are they not Nigerians ? This is a national day. They should be in attendance, ” Najimu, a business man in Abuja said at the venue.
