Lagos: Man Found Dead in His Vehicle In Obalende


LAGOS AUGUST 5TH (NEWSRANGERS)-What could have been responsible for the death of a 61 year old man who was found stone dead inside his locked up vehicle at Obalende road Lagos Island, is the riddle the detectives in Lagos police command are set to crack.
According to TheCaveat.info’s investigation, residents in Obalende suddenly realised the man’s Gold colour Toyota Camry with registration number BEN 231 CB, had been unusually parked on the road with the man locked inside.
It was gathered that the residents suspected that the man must have been dead when he was found sitting at the wheel with both hands and head resting on the steering in an unusual manner for hours.
The police at Onikan, on receiving a distress call from the Obalende residents immediately moved to the scene forced opened the car’s door and discovered the man had given up the ghost.
Searching documents in the vehicle, the police quickly contacted the deceased family via his phone.
The name of the deceased was revealed by the family as Adebekun Olusegun Samuel, age 61 years and that he has been sick.
The Lagos Police image-maker, DSP Bala Elkana, who confirmed the incidence said man’s corpse has since been released to the family on request when investigation on it revealed that there was no fowl play was suspected on it, more so that the man had been confirmed to have been indisposed before he forced himself out on the day he died on the steering.
