Nasarawan APC Chairman, Shekwo Abducted
LAGOS NOVEMBER 22ND (NEWSRANGERS)-The Nasarawa State Chapter Chairman of the All progressive Congress (APC), Phillip Tetari Shekwo has been kidnapped
The State Commissioner of Police, Bola Longe, who confirmed the incident, said Shekwo was abducted from his Lafia residence around 11pm on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
According to the Nasarawa state police command; “unidentified gunmen in large number stormed the resident of the APC Chairman in Lafia around 11 O’clock in the evening, last night and took him away to an unknown destination.”
The Police boss however said security agencies have already swung into action in search of the APC chairman, assuring that Shekwo will be rescued unhurt.
“We reacted swiftly by deploying personnel to different forest locations in the state to ensure safe release of the APC chairman”, CP Longe said.
