Super Eagles, Morocco Qualify For CHAN Final

LAGOS FEBRUARY 1ST (NEWSRANGERS)-Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles and their Moroccan counterpart have qualified for the finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Nigeria qualified by edging out Sudan national team 1-0 in the semi final played yesterday.
The Nigerians will meet hosts, Morocco, who earlier spanked Libya 3-0, in the final.
Gabriel Okechukwu scored Nigeria’s winning goal in the 16th minute.
The competition’s first semi-final match, played in Casablanca, saw Morocco, the hosts once again inspired by Ayoub El Kaabi, who scored two goals to take his tournament tally to eight overall.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the home-based Super Eagles on their victory over Sudan.
