Two Policemen Killed As Gunmen Attack Kogi Police Station

L 3RD (NEWSRANGERS)-No fewer than two policemen have been killed after gunmen attacked a police station at Gegu village on Lokoja–Abuja road.
The attack which occurred on Tuesday, left one of the suspects in the cell injured.
Confirming the incident was spokesman of the Kogi State Police Command, William Aya.
“It is true that there was an attack today. We lost two officers,” he told online Newspaper The Cable.
Aya further confirmed that the corpses of the two policemen had been deposited at the mortuary of the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja.
He said the Force had commenced investigation into the incident.
