LAGOS MARCH 23RD (NEWSRANGERS)-Meanwhile, three persons were feared dead in Enugu on Thursday as operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) shot at a moving commercial bus.
The incident occurred at Miliken Hill axis of old Enugu-Onitsha Road at about 11.30am.

According to eyewitnesses, trouble started when the commercial bus passed in front of the NSCDC headquarters at New Market.
The road had been barricaded from motorists.
The action of the commercial bus driver provoked NSCDC operatives on guard at the headquarters who had attempted to stop the commercial bus from passing.
After the failed attempt to stop the bus, the operatives mounted one of their patrol vehicles and gave the commercial bus a hot chase.
On getting to Miliken Hill, the NSCDC reportedly shot at the bus, and it plunged into a nearby ditch and caught fire.
It was gathered that the NSCDC operatives immediately fled the scene of the shooting while the vehicle was in flames.
Despite a swift rescue operation by sympathisers, three of the occupants of the bus were burnt to death before any help could come their way while others were rescued with various degrees of injuries.
Burning with fury, commercial bus operators and some members of the public immediately embarked on a protest to the headquarters of NSCDC in Enugu, but the operatives fired sporadically into the air to scare the protesters away.
It was gathered that three victims of the incident, including one of the deceased, were indigenes of nearby Ngwo town, a town near Enugu.
They were heading home as at the time the incident occurred.
Ebere Amaraizu, Spokesman of Enugu State Police Command, confirmed the incident.
Amaraizu, however, said only one person died in the incident, according to information available to him so far.
The police spokesman said those injured were receiving medical attention in the hospital.
The latest incident was the second time in one week that NSCDC operatives were involved in indiscriminate shooting of innocent citizens in Enugu.
