LAGOS OCTOBER 9TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Professor Emmanuel C. Edozien, OFR, an accomplished economist, Professor, businessman and boardroom guru is dead.
The former Economic Adviser to former President, Shehu Shagari, died Saturday afternoon inside his Ikoyi residence after a brief ailment, sources close to the family told THEWILL.
Emmanuel, 82, a sibling of the Asagba of Asaba, Obi Professor John Chike Edozien, was a Professor of International & Development Economics and former Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at University of Ibadan, Chairman, Governing Council, Bells University of Technology, Otta; Chairman, PZ Cussons Nigeria PLC; Vice Chairman, AMNI Petroleum; Director; Nigeria Printing and Minting Company and Chairman, Board of Trustees, PZ Cussons Foundation.
