JUST IN: Scores Of Pupils Feared Dead As School Building Collapses In Lagos (PHOTOS)
LAGOS MARCH 13TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Over 100 pupils are feared dead, after a school building collapsed moments earlier in at Itafaji, Lagos Island, Lagos State.
Tragedy struck, as the three storey building housing a school collapsed, killing and trapping many.
The house on 36 Massey street collapsed around 10am this morning according to report.
It is believed that many people including children are currently trapped in the building.
The third floor of the building is housing a private school in the area.
As at the time of filing this report, many students are being rushed to the General hospital, Marina, while parents are trooping there to search for their children.
It’s gathered that over 100 students are currently still trapped and being dug out.
A resident of the area, Prince Adams, who spoke with Punch Nigeria on the telephone, said no fewer than 10 pupils had been removed from the rubble so far.
