NECO Refutes Postponement Of SSCE

LAGOS APRIL 8TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The National Examination Council (NECO) says it has not postponed the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) and the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) because of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

The examination body said only the National Common Entrance (NCEE) has been postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic.

Its Head of Information and Public Relations, Azeez Sani, who made the clarification in a statement added that the Council is monitoring the situation in the Country and will make Official pronouncement on the examinations if the need arises.
