‘Nigerians Celebrating Christmas In Pains, Empty Stomach’

LAGOS DECEMBER 25TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, on Monday said Nigerians are celebrating the 2018 Christmas with so much pains and in hunger.
CUPP National Spokesman, Imo Ugochinyere, who said this in a statement made available to journalists, noted that most Nigerians were celebrating the season on empty stomach.

He attributed the situation to President Muhammadu Buhari’s incompetence. and failure.
He, therefore, beckoned on Nigerians to let their Christmas pain make their resolve to vote Buhari out of office come 2019.
He further urged Nigerians to be steadfast in mobilisation and be prayerful, saying the February 16, 2019 date for the presidential election is their date with destiny.
The statement read: “The cost of transportation has now gone out of control of the ordinary people. In most instances, it has gone between the 300% – 500% mark.
“Staple food items are now like luxury to Nigerian families. Rice, yam, maize, vegetable oil, tomatoes, and other basic food ingredients are so expensive that many families are in dire straits at the moment as how to survive this season.
“Worse is that the Federal Government did not make any attempts to pay contractors who they are owing, thereby making it impossible for them to pay their staff their December salaries.
“The Buhari regime has also found it extremely difficult to source for funds to pay civil servants many of whom do not have any idea of how to survive this season.
“The regime has made many Nigerians lose faith in the only country they call their own. Millions of Nigerians cannot buy basic food to eat or are stranded and cannot travel to their villages to be with loved ones because of the high cost of transportation.
“But we bring them good news; punish this administration with your PVC and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will get Nigeria working again.
“The incompetence of President Buhari and his ineffectual policies are responsible for the economic woes of our nation. President Buhari has never in history been known to have managed anything successfully to prosperity
“The regime has all through and so far been so loud in the noise of promises but empty on delivery. The Buhari government has no known policy on the improvement and development of education and health; two critical sectors that benefit the people and jumpstart the growth of the economy.
“The hopelessness of a new year imposed on them by this regime shall not deter the collective resolve of Nigerians to reclaim our country from the hands a marauding cabal bent on weaponising poverty.”
