Super Eagles Striker Makes Wave In Seria B, Scores a Hat-Trick

LAGOS JULY 4TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Although going down with Crotone to the Serie B, Super Eagles striker, Simeon Nwankwo has proven to the one of the best strikers in Italy.

The Super Eagles striker scored his 16th goal of the season for Crotone with a hat-trick against Benevento, who are believed to be interested in former Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel.

Crotone were at home against league leaders, Benevento, in a game that would help shape qualification to the Serie A by both clubs.

Simeon scored in the 14th minute through an assist from Alberto Gerbo and made it 2-0 in the 18th minute, this time through an assist from Andrea Berberis

Simy’s final goal came in the 71st minute, receiving a second assist from Alberto Gerbo to make it 3-0.

The win brings Crotone closer to a return to the Serie A. Crotone are second on the table with 55 points from 32 games. Benevento have 76 points and a plus 38 goals difference while Crotone have a plus 17 goals difference. Remarkably, Simeon Nwankwo has scored a greater number of the goals

With 6 matches left to be played, if Nwankwo continues to score, Crotone are in a good position to qualify to the Serie A
