Suspected Fulani Militias Invade Abducts Anglican Bishop’s Wife, Secretary In Kano

LAGOS MARCH 11TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Suspected Fulani militia were reported to have have invaded   Hausa Christian community of Gidan Mato Bari in Kano province of Nigeria.

The incident happened yesterday night.

According to reports, “The marauders ransacked the town including the Anglican Diocese, kidnapping the Wife of the Anglican Bishop of Bari Diocese, Mrs. Saratu Zubairu.”

The reports added that the militias also kidnapped the Diocesan Seccretary, Miss Deborah.

The above reports was shared through a twitter page of Mr. Edward, a member of Nigerian Naval Intelligence (Navy).

He further revealed that  the kidnappers are asking for ransom.

“Demand for ransom already made. Several civilians were injured, cash and livestock stolen”, the post reads.
