Bandits Demand N500m Ransom For Abducted Passengers In Niger State

LAGOS FEBRUARY 17TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Bandits who kidnapped twenty-one passengers in a bus belonging to the Niger State Transport Authority (NSTA) have released a video demanding the sum of N500 million to secure the release of the abducted passengers.

The video released on Tuesday shows the passengers in a helpless state as the kidnappers bragged about their authority over them.

The passengers, who are mostly men, were said to be heading to Minna, the state capital, from Kotangora when the incident happened.

Recall that several attacks have been carried out by bandits in the state which explains the level of insecurity in the country.
