Hoodlums Burgle Chief judge, High Court Judge Offices, Cart Away Case Files, Computers


LAGOS JUNE 18TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Suspected cultists invaded the Bayelsa State High Court complex and buggled the offices of the State Chief Judge, Justice Kate Eradiri and Justice Aganaba, carting away computers and case files.
Newsmen gathered that the incident,which occurred in the early hours of Sunday left the State Chief Judge, Justice Kate Eradiri and other judges in a state of shock.
Sources told newsmen in Yenagoa, that some of the judiciary workers,who arrived early on Monday for their usual clean-ups, were shocked to see the Chief Judge Office buggled and vandalised.
Preliminary report available to newen from judicial sources,claimed the invasion of the offices of the Chief Judge and Justice Aganaba may be related to a serious case being handled and submitted to the chief judge for advice.
It was also gathered that the police are investigating some staff of the Judiciary attached to Justice Kate Abiri and justice Aganaba.
It was gathered that an insider may have informed the suspected cultists of the movement of the file from Aganaba to Justice Kate Abiri.
Contacted on the development, the Spokesperson of the Bayelsa Police Command, Asinim Butswat, said though he has not been informed,’ the police will investigate the matter.’
