Oshiomhole Elected APC National Chairman


LAGOS JUNE 24TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State has been elected as National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, at the party’s national convention holding at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
The former labour union leader, the sole candidate for the position following the withdrawal of two other prominent aspirants (Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor and Chief Clement Ebri) during the week, was elected with a voice vote by delegates.
Jigawa State Governor, Mr. Badaru Abubakar, who is chairman of the convention presided over the vote. Oshiomhole takes over from Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.
